At New Garden, we welcome families of all kinds, all backgrounds, all ethnicities…in other words, families like yours.

We realize that all families’ needs are not the same, so we strive to be flexible in meeting the needs of everyone, children as well as adults.

Childcare on First Day: Childcare for our youngest Friends is available from 9:40 a.m. through the rise of meeting. We also have a designated area with quilts, books, and activity sheets for those who prefer to remain in worship. Families with little ones are warmly invited to join Sunday morning activities and worship. No reservations needed. First Day School: Children participating in First Day/Sunday School leave Meeting for Worship with Lizzie Biddle at the start of Open Worship. All children will be at the childcare room at the rise of Meeting.

Intergenerational Fourth Sunday Gatherings On the fourth Sunday of each month, our community comes together at the rise of meeting for hands‑on, all‑ages activities that nurture connection, creativity, and shared learning. Children, youth, and adults explore a theme together through simple projects, conversation, and service.
