Donation hours are as follows:
Monday 5 p.m.-7 p.m.
Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Sundays 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
During the scheduled donation hours, please bring items directly downstairs through the basement door entrance near the dumpsters. If you are in need of help, please come in and we will find a volunteer to help.
The flea market will be held Saturday, October 17&24, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Beloved Community Journey 2026
Exploring Racial Justice Issues, Past and Present, in the South
Wednesday 21 October - Sunday 25 October 2026
This five-day/four-night experience is organized with New Garden Friends Meeting for Greensboro-area Quakers. We also have spaces for Carolina Friends School community members and for other curious adults.
Experience civil rights history in Birmingham, Selma, Montgomery, and Atlanta; explore contemporary issues of race in our country; and meet change-agents working to make a difference.
As we travel, enjoy music of the movement, see documentaries and film clips, and learn from our experienced historian tour leader and your fellow travelers.
One past participant described her experience as a "solidarity pilgrimage...[a] journey to the worlds of others as we seek to humble ourselves, broaden our perspective, and respond with action.” Glimpse the power of possibility for yourself in Nyra's reflections.

The Invitation
In 1652, George Fox climbed Pendle Hill and had a vision of "a great people to be gathered." That vision took root in the rugged, misty fells of England’s Lake District, forever changing the landscape of faith and justice.
Next June, join a community of adult seekers on an eight-day pilgrimage to the birthplace of the Religious Society of Friends. Together, we will walk the paths of George Fox, Margaret Fell, and the early Valiant Sixty, finding our own "openings" in the beauty and silence of the Cumbrian hills.
In addition to being a spiritually nurturing experience for us individually, the Journey is a wonderful way to deepen relationships and build a stronger sense of community among F/friends.
New Garden Friends Meeting offers this trip in partnership with Carolina Friends School. Individuals within and beyond the NGFM and CFS communities, including educators, Friends meeting members, and other interested adults, are welcome. You don't need Quaker affiliation, only a heart open to beauty, learning, and human connection.
